Violet Littlejohn
Violet Littlejohn, 101, Grafton, died Monday April 26, 1993, in Lutheran Sunset Home Grafton.
Violet May Littlejohn was born Feb. 25, 1892 near Glasston, N.D., the daughter of Emmanuel and Elizabeth Littlejohn. She attended University High School in Grand Forks, taught school attended the University of Chicago and lived in Chicago where she worked for Ford Motor Co., the Navy Department and the Fifth Army Headquarters before retiring to Grand Forks, where she lived in Turtle Manor.
Survivors are her nieces, Irene (Mrs. Henry) Lane, St. Thomas, N.D., Marian (Mrs. Eldon) Harlow Summer, Wash Elizabeth Nichol Glen Ellyn III, Aurel (Mrs. Gordon) Jacobson, St. Paul, Bonnie (Mrs. Marvin) Lykken, Grafton, nephew Dow Nichol, Glen Ellyn III, and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Amos, Roy and Norman sisters, Olive, Heazlett and Elsie Nichol; niece, Donna Jensen, and nephew, Glenn Littlejohn.
Memorial services at a later date in Lutheran Sunset Home, Grafton.
Burial: Glasston Cemetery Arrangements are with Tollefson Funeral Home Grafton.
