Weston Couple Are Honored On Wedding Day Anniversary
An enjoyable evening was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D.S. Davidson, 98 Canterbury, East Kildonan, on the occasion of the 35th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. T. Littlejohn, 1592 Ross Avenue, Weston, when their children and grandchildren and a number of friends were present. Dinner was served for 24, the table being decorated with flowers and wedding cake and yellow tapers. The dining room in mauve and white streamers and white bells made a beautiful decoration. Mr. and Mrs. Littlejohn received many presents and the evening was spent in music and singing.

The funeral service for Thornley Littlejohn, 76, of 1592 Ross avenue, who died Sunday at Victoria hospital, was held Wednesday at 2.45 p.m. at Morduc's funeral home, with burial in Brookside cemetery. Rev. George McMillan officiated. Born in Ontario. Mr. Littlejohn had resided in Winnipeg for 32 years. He was a machinist with the C.P.R. for 26 years, retiring in 1930. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Isabel Shields, of Winnipeg, one son. Lawrence Clifford, of Winipeg: two brothers. J. Littlejohn in North Dakota, and Albert in Winnipeg
