Thomas Littlejohn was the son of Humphrey and Harriett (Metheral) Littlejohn.
He moved with his parents from Lindsay, Ontario to Glasston, North Dakota in 1889. He came from a large family of nine brothers and three sisters,
Thomas married Minnie Venita Budd, who was born July 16, 1871, at Lindsay, Ontario. They had one son, Ernest Wilfred, who was born April 21, 1892.
Thomas passed away on March 30, 1893, at the age of 26, years. The cause of death was determined to be appendicitis.
Minnie later remarried to William Sinclair.
I believe this came from L. Mae's book, can someone with the book please tell me if it did.
The Littlejohn Family
In the late 19th Century, many people from eastern Canada and Europe were migrating to the western plains of North Dakota and the Northwest Territories to settle on homestwads of 160 acres and make new homes for themselves and their families.
In 1889, several families from Lindsay, Ontario moved to North Dakota and settled in the Glasston and Hamilton Districts, some twenty-five miles from the Canadian border and south of Winnipeg. Two families whose families intertwined down through the years were the Littlejohn's and the Sinclairs.
Humphrey and Harriett (Metheral) Littlejohn, who had ten sons and three daughters, moved to Glasston and settled there. Two sons later moved back to Canada - Albert and Thornley, who settled in Winnipeg.
Archie and Maryanne (Maunder) Sinclair, who had two sons and four daughters, settled in the Hamilton and later all moved to the Northwest Territories. In 1905, a portion of that territory was being divided into Alberta and Saskatchewan.
During the 1890's several families were married: Thomas Littlejohn married Minnie Budd. They had one son, Ernest Wilfred, who was a year old when his father died. Later his mother married Will Sinclair, eldest son of Archie and Maryanne Sinclair. In 1904 Albert Littlejohn married Ella Sinclair.

Died
Thomas Littlejohn, who died at Glasston, Thursday March 30, 1893, was born in Ontario on July 18, 1865. He immigrated to North Dakota in June 1885, and located where he passed away. On June 20th 1889 he was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Budd, who with one child now mourn his loss. He was converted to God in a special service held by Rev. H. C. Klingle in June 1890, and was duly received as a member of the M. E. Church.
His illness was short. On Saturday afternoon a large number of friends and neighbors followed his remains to Glasston where he was buried.
This is the first death in a family of ten sons and three daughters, and is keenly felt by all concerned
